The Houston Astros are now just one win away from their 2nd World Series Title in 3 years after beating the Washington Nationals 7-1 in D.C. last (Sunday) night.

The Nats were swept in three games at home now find themselves facing elimination.

Game 6 goes back to Houston on Tuesday night.

The St. Louis Blues with a 5-4 overtime win against the Detroit Red Wings yesterday (Sunday).

David Perron scored the goal in overtime to give the Blues the victory.

In other NFL news Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll announced that former Missouri lineman Justin Britt has a season ending injury.

Britt suffered a torn ACL yesterday (Sunday) in a game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Britt was taken in the 2nd round of the 2014 NFL Draft by Seattle, and has started 85 of 86 games since.
