The Missouri Tigers Women’s Basketball team earned a 97-89 overtime victory over Western Illinois last (Tuesday) night at Mizzou Arena to open the regular season.
Five Tigers scored in double figures. Senior Amber Smith led the way, recording her 11th career double-double with 27 points along with 15 rebounds and 4 assists.
Next up Mizzou Women will host Big 12 foe Nebraska on Sunday with a 2pm tip.
