Free agent Marcell Ozuna is expected to reject a qualifying offer by the St. Louis Cardinals today (Thursday).
The offer is for one year, 17.8 million dollars.
At least a half-dozen teams have had early talks about Ozuna, and that includes the Cincinnati Reds, according to 2 sources.
Ozuna and his agent have repeatedly told the Cardinals his preference is to remain with the team, and to find a multi-year deal that makes that possible.

A comical moment in the NBA last (Wednesday) as LA Clippers coach Doc Rivers was ejected for arguing with an official, while his son, Austin Rivers playing for the opposing Houston Rockets, laughed and signaled for the officials to give his dad a technical foul.
As Doc was walking off the floor to the locker room, his son Austin, was celebrating and motioning to his father to call him by pretending to hold a phone to his ear.
The Rockets ended up winning 102-93.
