The Kansas City Royals and outfielder Alex Gordon agreeing to a 4 million dollar contract for next season.
The announcement was made yesterday.
The 35 year old Gordon, is a 3 time All-Star, and won his 7th Gold Glove last season to move within one of Frank White for the most in franchise history.
NHL All-Star Weekend starts today in St. Louis.
At Union Station from 3-10 the NHL Fan Fair will be on hand.
An NHL Mascot Showdown takes place at 5 and 7.
Then the NHL Alumni Game taking place at 7 tonight at the Centene Community Ice Center.
Saturday the All-Star Game itself will be played at the Enterprise Center.
The game will be televised on NBC, puck drops at 7pm.
