Mexico School District Staff and Teachers Meeting With Candidates Seeking To Be Next Superintendent

The search for a new superintendent in the Mexico School District is being narrowed down to 3 candidates.

Staff and teachers in the district are meeting with the candidates starting tonight (Thursday), tomorrow (Friday)  night and Monday.

Mexico Board of Education President Dustin Pascoe, says the search firm they hired the Missouri Association of Rural Educators narrowed the field down to 3 people.

Pascoe says the school board should be announcing they have hired a new superintendent by the middle of next week.
