Highway 22 just east of Centralia is reduced to one lane due to bridge damage.
A hole developed this (Tuesday) morning in the westbound lane of the bridge over Young’s Creek just east of Centralia.
Westbound traffic is being re-routed over the eastbound lane until repairs can be made.
MoDot urges motorists to slow down and use caution in the area.
The bridge, built in 1953, carries nearly 2,300 vehicles daily according to MoDot data.
