Mexico Bulldogs Basketball Teams With Quad Home Sweep Over Moberly Spartans

It was a quad sweep for the Mexico Bulldogs Basketball Teams against the Moberly Spartans at the Gary Filbert Court in Mexico tonight (Friday).

The Mexico JV Girls held on for a 28-23 win.

The Mexico JV Boys improved their record to 14-1 on the season with a 48-24 victory.

It was Senior Night and the Mexico Girls Varsity team won their 9 consecutive game with a 31-27 win over Moberly.

The Lady Bulldogs did not score in the 1st quarter.

Mexico came roaring back in the 2nd half.

Unofficial scoring had Mya Miller leading the team with 12 points.

Followed by Reghan Smith with 10.

The Mexico Bulldogs improved their overall record to 17-5 and are now 7-1 in the North Central Missouri Conference with 2 games remaining in the regular season.

The Mexico Boys Basketball Team rolled the Moberly Spartans 75-43 to complete a 2 game season sweep.

Unofficial scoring had Isiah Reams leading all scorers with 18, followed by Zach Watkins with 15.

The Mexico Boys won their 5th straight game and improved their overall record to 12-10.

They have a 6-2 record in the NCMC with 2 games remaining in the regular season against Hannibal on Tuesday, and Fulton on Friday next week.
