Moberly Police Use Force In Arrest Of Man Following Domestic Disturbance And Assault

A man is in the Randolph County Justice Center following a domestic assault and disturbance in Moberly where police had to use force in an arrest.

Moberly Police say they responded to a domestic assault early yesterday (Friday) morning at 1028 Sinnock Avenue.

Officers say they heard 66 year old Ronald Graupman screaming and damaging property inside, and making threats of killing the victim and not complying with officers.

According to the press release, when police entered the residence, Graupman threatened them with a knife, screw driver, and a metal framing triangle.

When the man moved closer to the victim, officers shot him in the leg with a single extended range foam round.

He was then arrested, the 93 year old victim was found in the back of the trailer with no injuries.
