The St. Louis Cardinals with a 6-1 win over the Minnesota Twins in spring training yesterday.
Redbirds hurler Andrew MIller warmed up to throw, however the veteran reliever was shut down after he couldn’t get a feel for the baseball.
Cardinal skipper Mike Shildt said they will evaluate it moving forward.
The evaluation will take place over the next couple of days to find out whether or not the issue is nerve-related, and once the problem is diagnosed, there will be a better sense of a timeline for his spring.
The Cardinals are back in spring training action this afternoon against the Houston Astros with a 12:05 first pitch.
The Kansas City Royals return to the field after a day off yesterday.
They take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at 7:05 tonight.
