Spartan Light Metal Products will lay off just over 400 employees at its Mexico and Hannibal locations due to the new coronavirus.
According to a report from the Mexico Ledger the Mexico operation will have 332 employees laid off, which Spartan believes will be temporary.
The layoffs started this week in Mexico and will take place in Hannibal on Monday.
72 employees are being impacted in Hannibal.
