A mobile testing collaborative is underway this week in Boone County in an effort to increase testing for people with COVID-19.
Columbia/Boone County Health and Human Services, Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran’s Hospital, MU Health Care and Boone Hospital will expand testing sites in Ashland, Centralia, Columbia, and Hallsville.
The tests will be for people experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19.
No other criteria will be needed for testing at these events.
Testing in Centralia starts today from 8 am until noon at the Centralia Town Square.
On Wednesday a mobile testing site will be at the Hallsville High School from noon until 4pm.
The program will expand to additional surrounding areas once it is established.
