Some local high school baseball teams are getting ready to play summer ball next week with some restrictions.
The Columbia public schools will not be able to travel outside of Boone County to play and they won’t be able to let other county schools like Helias or Jefferson City play in Columbia.
Other Boone County schools like Battle, Rock Bridge and Hickman could play against one another.
Summer league games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 20 games in all starting on June 2nd and ending July 2nd.
