Governor Mike Parson last (Saturday) night declares a state of emergency in Missouri due to civil unrest.
Governor Parson said, “We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of George Floyd. We are also saddened by the acts of violence that have transpired across our nation and state in response to this event.”
The Executive Order calls the Adjutant General of the State of Missouri to call and order into active service the National Guard as he deems necessary to protect life and property in Missouri and to assist civilian authorities.
