Several area students are participating in the Mo Beef Leadership Academy.
The 4-H and FFA students involved will spend the year as a catalyst for the Mo Beef Mo Kids program in their communities and learn more about the beef industry as well as gaining leadership skills, according to a Facebook post from the organization.
Students participating include Schyler Angell of Centralia, Abbigail Kleinsorge of Middletown, Carlee Long from Paris, Kaleigh Moore of Fulton, Lexi Plackemeier of Silex and Shaye Siegel of California.
