Cuts Made To Mizzou’s College Of Agriculture, Food And Natural Resources
Budget cuts continue at Mizzou and the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources is the latest to feel the effects.
According to the Human Resources website for the University of Missouri, budget actions for CAFNR announced Friday include phasing out the Food for the 21st Century program and reducing assigned space.
Voluntary salary reductions for CAFNR administration, faculty and staff of up to 10% for 3 months is also part of the cuts expected to save $3 million.
According to Mizzou, the Food for the 21st century program was established in 1984 and has supported a sustained effort in reproductive biology of livestock species and has created at the University of Missouri one of the largest groups of livestock reproductive biologists in the world.
