Thursday 2 players tested positive for the coronavirus, then 2 other positive tests were confirmed Saturday, along with 4 inconclusive tests that require additional testing.
The team remained quarantined in their Milwaukee hotel for a third day, yesterday.
The Cardinals don’t anticipate any updates today, when they are scheduled to leave Milwaukee for Detroit for a workout at Comerica Park.
The Redbirds are scheduled to play 4 games against the Tigers in three days, including a doubleheader on Wednesday.
The Kansas City Royals with a 9-2 loss to the Chicago White Sox yesterday (Sunday).
Kansas City was swept by Chicago in the first series of the season at Kauffman Stadium.
The Royals now travel to Chicago, where they will play the Cubs at Wrigley Field today and tomorrow.
The St. Louis Blues with a 2-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche yesterday (Sunday) in the opening game of the round-robin portion of the Stanley Cup Qualifiers at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
