The St. Louis Cardinals and the Detroit Tigers have had their 4 game series postponed.
That announcement made yesterday (Monday) afternoon the Cardinals have had 13 members of the organization test positive for the coronavirus in the last week, including 7 players and 6 staff members.
St. Louis Cardinals President of baseball operations John Mozeliak, told reporters yesterday (Monday) there is no proof that anyone went to a casino.
Mozeliak said he had no factual reason to believe that is true, and has not seen any proof of that, and if someone was at a casino, though, that would be disappointing.
The club which has been in quarantine since Thursday, will remain in Milwaukee and their personnel will continue to be tested daily.
The tentative plan is for the Cardinals to resume its regular schedule on Friday against the Chicago Cubs in St. Louis.
The Kansas City Royals shutout 2-0 by the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field last (Monday) night.
The Royals have now lost four consecutive games.
