Major League Baseball announced last (Friday) night that a St. Louis Cardinals staff member and 2 players tested positive from samples collected over the last 2 days.
The Cardinals have now had 14 cases total, 8 of which are in players.
MLB says this weekend’s games are being postponed to allow more time for contact tracing and testing.

The Kansas City Royals notched a 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Twins at the K last (Friday) night.
The Royals winners of 2 in a row will face the Twins again tonight (Saturday).

The SEC is announcing 2 more games for the upcoming college football season.
The Missouri Tigers will play Alabama in Columbia, and LSU in Baton Rouge.
Dates for these games have not yet been announced.
Mizzou’s training camp, was set to begin yesterday (Friday), has been pushed back to August 17th.
