Four Mexico Teachers Honored With Cash Awards From Webber Pharmacy Matched By Commerce Bank

Four teachers in the Mexico School District were honored with cash awards this (Thursday) morning by Larry, Justin and Brendan Webber of Webber Pharmacy.

The Webbers made a one thousand dollar contribution for each of four teachers in the district in honor of the late Laurann Webber who was an educator and the money was given to recognize the importance of teaching excellence of Mexico Public Schools.

The Commerce Bank matched the funds this year and each of the following teachers received two thousand dollars.


Nancy Baker who teaches at Eugene Field.

Dan Quinlan and Carey Knipfel who teach at the Mexico Middle School.


And Kayla Hildebrand who teaches at McMillan.

The awards were originally going to be given out in April however due to COVID-19 it was pushed back to this morning.
