Mexico Teen Now Charged With Second Degree Murder By The State In Shooting Death
Amended charges are now filed against a Mexico teen accused in the shooting death of another teen earlier this month.
Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney announced yesterday that 18 year old Javone L. Hornbeak has now been charged by the State with Second Degree Murder, Unlawful Use of a Weapon Resulting in Death and Armed Criminal Action.
Hornbeak is accused in the shooting death of 17 year old Tornez Burton at Garfield Park on August 6th.
Hornbeak appeared by video with attorney yesterday (Thursday) at the Audrain County Courthouse and they asked the case be continued for a status hearing next Thursday, August 27th.
