The Mexico Bulldogs girls softball team with a 6-0 win over the Moberly Spartans at Gallop Field last (Tuesday) night.

It was the second straight shutout of a conference opponent.

Riley Thurman knocked a two run tater and scored 2 runs, Lexi Willer had 2 RBI, Abby Bellamy with another home run.

Eboni Mayfield threw a complete game with 4 strikeouts.

The Lady Dogs are now 10-7 and play again tomorrow (Thursday) night against Tolton at home.

The St. Louis Cardinals shut out the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium 5-0 last (Tuesday) night.

Dylan Carlson finished with a single, double and triple and was a homer shy of the cycle.

The win evened the series at 1 game a piece, with the final game of the series scheduled for tonight.

Missouri Head Football Coach Eli Drinkwitz is confirming 7 players will be out for Saturday’s game against Alabama due to COVID-19.

Coach Drink told reporters yesterday (Tuesday) on a zoom call saying this a public health issue and people should know what’s going on with our football team as it relates to a pandemic.

He also announced several injuries yesterday, including the medical retirement of tight end Brendan Scales due to a foot injury and two season-ending shoulder injuries to offensive lineman Hyrin White and defensive lineman Jatorian Hansford.
