Several projects are ongoing with Mexico Parks And Recreation Department. Director Chad Shoemaker joined AM 1340 KXEO and the Am I Awake Morning Show today to give an update on how the new swimming pool project is progressing, also a grant for a youth basketball court at Garfield Park,and new playground equipment at Plunkett Park.
