Mexico’s local newspaper is under new ownership.
Tim Schmidt who founded Westplex Media Group and has weekly papers in Montgomery City and Warrenton purchased the Mexico Ledger in August.
Dave Faries has been tapped to run the Ledger as the editor.
Mr. Faries was the featured local guest on AM 1340 KXEO and the Am I Awake Morning Show with Matt Pilger today and talked about the new vision for the newspaper.
