Mexico Public Schools, citing a rise in the number of students and staff in isolation or quarantine, is suspending in-seat instruction.
According to Mexico Superintendent Dr. Tammy Lupardis, the change takes effect on Monday, November 16th.
The Alternative Method of Instruction will include Google Classroom and/or paper packets.
If the number of COVID-19 cases drops enough, the plan is to return to in-seat instruction Monday, November 30th.
Yesterday’s (Monday’s) COVID-19 dashboard for the district showed 1 new positive case and 153 in quarantine.
