Mexico Man Arrested For DWI, Driving Without A License And Accused Of Trying To Run Another Vehicle Off The Road

A Mexico man is facing multiple charges after an arrest yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon where he is accused of DWI and trying to run another vehicle off the road.

Mexico Public Safety officers went to the intersection of North Clark and Perry Street around 1:20 yesterday and found a damaged silver Honda Accord facing west on Perry, and a Chevrolet Equinox facing south in the front yard of 1412 North Clark.

According to the accident report 44 year old Kimmie Watts of Mexico struck another vehicle being driven by 23 year old Avianna Dorsey repeatedly.

According to Mexico Public Safety Watts pulled next to Dorsey’s vehicle and tried to run her off the road, and crashed into the front of Dorsey’s vehicle.

Watts lost control and collided with a utility pole.

Watts was arrested and is charged with 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, Driving While Intoxicated, Careless and Imprudent Driving involving a crash, and Driving without a Valid License.

He was taken to the Audrain County Jail.
