Mexico Public Safety responded to several fire calls on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yesterday (Thursday) morning Public Safety went to the 600 block of East Liberty at the Jody Coin Laundry Building where officers found light smoke.
The cause is believed to be a broken belt on a washer.
No injuries were reported.
On Wednesday night just after 7:33 Public Safety went to a call of a shed fire at 1933 Latney.
Arriving officers quickly put out the fire.
According to Mexico Public Safety the cause was believed to be an electrical issue and there were no injuries associated with the incident.
