SSM-Audrain Hospital Relaxing Visitor Restrictions Starting January 11

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital Audrain is announcing that starting Monday, January 11th visitor restrictions will be relaxed.

According to news release from the hospital the change is due to a decrease in community transmission of the COVID-19 virus.

All non-COVID positive patients will be welcome to have one support person at a time, over the age of 16, during designated hours.

Exceptions may be made for end-of-life situations.

The support people will need to enter through the Emergency Room Entrance between 8 am and 8pm and undergo a screening, wear a face mask covering both nose and mouth, stay in the patient room or designated waiting area, and follow hand hygiene and social distancing guidelines.
