Missouri hunters harvested more than 296,000 deer during the 2020-2021 season, up nearly 11,000 from the previous season.
Archery season ended January 15th.
Local county totals for the whole deer season are: Audrain 2,340, Boone 3,208, Callaway 4,982, Gasconade 3,238,
Lincoln 3,615, Monroe 3,700, Montgomery 3,142, Pike 4,306, Ralls 2,528, Randolph 2,530, and Warren 2,489.
High harvest counties were Franklin with 5,775, Howell with 5,363, Callaway in third place.
