CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Thursday):
A structure fire on South Washington.
A suspicious person on West Monroe.
A suspicious vehicle at Pleasant.
A stealing or theft on Lakeview Road.
A report of animal abuse or neglect at Mars.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A 2 car accident reported yesterday (Thursday) morning on Boulevard at Western.
According to the accident report it happened around 11:19 am when a vehicle driven by 83 year old Thomas Nunes of Mexico changed lanes and collided with a vehicle driven by 72 year old Peggy Rossen of Mexico.
No injuries reported.
A 2 car accident reported on Muldrow at Boulevard yesterday (Thursday) morning.
According to the accident report it happened around 8:04am when a vehicle driven by 53 year old Dawn Phillips of Mexico failed to stop for stopped vehicle driven by 48 year old Larry Niemeyer, due to the slick conditions and a collision happened.
No injuries were reported.
