CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Wednesday):
Vehicle slide-offs at Lakeview Road and South Elmwood Drive.
A stealing or theft at 4820 South Clark.
A domestic physical incident on South Western.
Shots fired reported at North Washington.
A suspicious person on Quantico Road.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A 2 car accident reported on Tuesday, February 16th at 12:56pm on Morris at Lakeview.
According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 19 year old Jennifer M. Batts of Mexico had stopped then proceeded through the intersection and was struck by a vehicle driven by 42 year old Mark A. Thewlis of Mexico.
Both vehicles suffered heavy damage.
No injuries were reported.
A 1 car accident reported yesterday (Wednesday) on Highway 54 and South Clark at 6:24pm.
According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 46 year old Amos A. Borntreger of Shelbina struck a stop sign at the intersection.
No injuries were reported.
A 2 car accident reported yesterday (Wednesday) on West Vine at North Clark.
According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 18 year old Audrey Se of Auxvasse tried to brake for a stop sign and slid through the intersection and was struck by a vehicle driven by 35 year old Samantha Brown of Mexico.
No injuries were reported.
