The Mexico Bulldogs High School Baseball Team lost 7-6 in extra innings to Kirksville last (Thursday) night.

Jesse Fennewald, Tyler Thoenen and Andrew Runge had 2 hit games.

The Bulldogs are now 8-7 on the season and 4-4 in the North Central Missouri Conference.

Mexico is back at it on Tuesday when the play Boonville.

The Mexico Boys Tennis Team lost 6-3 to Osage last (Thursday) night at the Fairground Netplex.

It was Senior Night for the Bulldogs Tennis Team.

Individual winners included Brendan McKeown and Bryson Stuehmer.

Doubles winners included Bryson Stuehmer and Carter Mcintosh.

The University of Missouri’s wrestling program is returning to the Big 12 Conference, effective July 1st.

The UM Board of Curators gave unanimous approval yesterday.

The Tigers have wrestled in the Mid-American Conference since Mizzou left the Big 12 in all sports to join the Southeastern Conference nearly a decade ago.

The St. Louis Blues lost 4-2 to the Colorado Avalanche last (Thursday) night at the Enterprise Center.

The Avalanche clinched a playoff berth with the win.

Since March 5th, the Blues have posted a 5-11-4 record and are in fifth place, one point behind the Arizona Coyotes for the final playoff spot in the West Division.

The St. Louis Cardinals return to Busch Stadium tonight (Friday) starting a 3 game series with the Cincinnati Reds.

First pitch is at 7:15.

The Kansas City Royals hit the road tonight for a game against the Detroit Tigers.

Game starts at 6:10.
