Engine fires are the reason nearly 400,000 Hyundais are being recalled.
More than 203,000 2013 to 2015 Santa Fe Sport SUVs are being recalled due to a possible brake fluid leak that can cause an electrical short in the anti-lock brake computer and start a fire.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is warning those owners to park the vehicles outdoors, away from structures as a precaution.
The other recall involves roughly 187,000 2019 and 2020 Elantras and 2019 through 2021 Konas and Velosters, all with 2-liter engines.
Piston rings are the problem reported in that recall.
Owners of affected vehicles will be notified in June with details on repairs.
