The Community R6 Track Team competed in the Class 1 District 2 Track Meet at Callaway on Saturday and several Trojans advanced to Sectionals.

The Mexico Bulldogs Baseball Team will host the Moberly Spartans tonight and it is Senior Night.

The Bulldogs 3 seniors are Jesse Fennewald, Ty Prince and Hunter Woolfolk.

AM 1340 KXEO will be broadcasting the game live as Mexico Baseball team members Jack Wilburn and Deacon Haag will do the play by play and color commentary.

First pitch is at 5.

The St. Louis Cardinals completed the series sweep over the Colorado Rockies yesterday (Sunday) at Busch Stadium with a 2-0 win.

Adam Wainwright pitched another masterful game going 8 and 1/3 innings and allowing just 3 hits.

Nolan Arenado, made his former team pay with a solo homer.

Yadier Molina recorded 2 doubles.

The Redbirds have the day off today and remain 2 games ahead of the Milwaukee Brewers for 1st place in the National League Central.

The Kansas City Royals lost 9-3 to the Chicago White Sox at the K.

The Royals finished off a 7-game homestand without winning once.

They were swept in 4 games by the Indians and swept this weekend by the White Sox.

The Royals fell below .500 to 16-17 for the first time this season.
