The University of Missouri is announcing they have hired a new Athletic Director.
UNLV Athletic Director Desiree Reed-Francois will take over the role.
She was the first Latina Athletic Director in FBS history when she took over UNLV in 2017 and becomes the first woman to lead the Mizzou Athletics Department on a full-time basis.
She replaces outgoing AD Jim Sterk.
The St. Louis Cardinals were unable to complete a series sweep against the Kansas City Royals with a 6-5 loss at Busch Stadium yesterday (Sunday).
The Cardinals rallied back with a three-run eight inning when the rain, thunder and lightning caused a two-hour, 1- minute delay.
When the game resumed Cardinals reliever Alex Reyes surrendered the game winning hit to Royals shortstop Nicky Lopez.
