A Mexico High School teacher is being recognized as a 2021 McDonald’s Outstanding Educator.
Fourteen teachers were selected in the 2nd annual McDonald’s Outstanding Educators from a pool of 425.
Linda Lou Mallot who teaches High School Art, Varsity Cheer Coach, Art Club, Student Council Advisor, Bulldog Educational Travel club, at Mexico Public Schools was awarded one hundred dollars as a McDonald’s Outstanding Educator for her dedication to her students.
Other teachers who were awarded the one hundred dollars were Amy Christen James- Southern Boone Elementary School – Ashland.
Jamie Shewmake- California Elementary School – California.
Kylie Webery- Eldon Upper Elementary, Eldon.
Brooklyn Bledsoe, Bush Elementary School, Fulton.
Margaret McGhghy, Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City.
And Laura Hayes, School of the Osage Heritage Elementary, Lake Ozark.
Jenna Bennett from Columbia’s West Boulevard Elementary School and Heather Ann Brown from Laura Speed Elliot Middle School in Boonville were selected as one thousand dollars McDonald’s Outstanding Educator Award Winners.
