Gas customers of Ameren Missouri will pay more for natural gas usage beginning November first.
Missouri’s Public Service Commission approved a rate increase for the company today (Thursday) to help recover costs associated with the February 2021 polar vortex.
The amount of time for Ameren to recover costs has been extended for up to 36 months, which according to the company will allow them to lessen the impact on customer’s bills.
The current rate per hundred cubic feet of gas is 46 cents; the new rate will rise to 77 cents.
