Mexico’s Cross Country season is over after 5 members competed at state on Friday.
On the girls side, only fourteen point two seconds separated the Mexico contenders.
Sophomore Kalea Henneberry clocked a time of twenty-one minutes forty seconds, followed by Junior Sidney Turlington at twenty-one minutes forty-five point three seconds and Freshman Jordyn Wyman turned in a time of twenty-one minutes fifty-four point two seconds.
On the boys side, it was Junior Thomas Peuster with a time of eighteen minutes seventeen point one seconds followed by Sophomore Guy Fairchild at eighteen minutes eighteen point two seconds.
The state championship competition was held at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia.
