Kara Clovis is announcing today (Monday) that she is filing for a one year term on the Mexico School Board during the April, 2022 election.
The one year term was created after Dustin Pascoe resigned in September.
Dr. Thomas Allen was appointed to fill the vacant position on October 25th until an election for the remainder of the term could be held.
Clovis has a Masters in Public Health.
She and her husband have 2 younger children in the Mexico School District.
Clovis is also a Veteran of Military and currently works at Audrain Disability Services.
She told KXEO she “wants to impact children in a positive way and add stability to children.”
The election will be held on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022.
