A longtime doctor in Mexico is retiring.
Audrain Community Hospital announced the retirement of Dr. Gene Thomas today (Wednesday) following a 37 year career in Mexico.
Dr. Thomas is board certified in internal and critical care medicine as well as pulmonary disease.
He says it has been a privilege to serve the community, but now it is time for him to retire and start the next chapter of his life.
