Miss Missouri Callie Cox is on her way back home to Mexico after a fantastic week competing in the Miss America Competition this  Connecticut.

Miss Alaska, Emma Broyles was crowned this year’s Miss America last (Thursday) night.

It is the first time Alaska has had a Miss America winner.

Callie Cox will continue to serve as Miss Missouri until June promoting her People First platform.
