Mexico Public Safety Calls From Monday, 12/20

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls Monday, December 20th:

Juvenile problems on North Washington at the Town Branch

Loud music in the 1100 block of North Washington

Suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of North Wade

Utility line down on Wonneman Circle

Physical domestic in the 100 block of Josephine

Stealing or theft in the 4800 block of South Clark

Additionally, officers arrested 37-year old Dayton C. Crum on a Boone County warrant.

Officers worked two non-injury accidents Monday.

The first was just before 7:00 p.m. when 33-year old Bridget Demerest of Mexico pulled out of Walgreens to go westbound on Monroe Street and was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by 29-year old Zachary Sam, also of Mexico.

The second accident was on the parking lot of Mexico High School just before 10:00 p.m. when 17-year old Tobias Chatman lost control of his vehicle while executing a skid in the parking area.
