The Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls basketball teams will play round 2 of the Macon Tournament tonight (Wednesday).

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs play the Kirksville Lady Tigers with a 6pm tip.

Then the Mexico Bulldogs boys will face the Macon Tigers at 7:30.

AM 1340 KXEO will broadcast both games and the games will be streaming on KXEO.com.

In high school basketball last (Tuesday) night the North Callaway Thunderbirds boys remained undefeated in conference play by knocking off Wellsville 49-45.

Matthew Weber led all scorers with 25 points.

The Thunderbirds improved to 9-5 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.

Wellsville falls to 8-4 and 2-2. Up next North Callaway will host Clopton on Friday night.

The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team dominated Ole Miss 78-53 last (Tuesday) night on the road.

The 25 point victory is the third largest since Mizzou joined the SEC and the largest since March 6,2019.

Amari Davis tied a program record with his perfect 10-of-10 performance from the floor for a season-high 23 points.

Up next Mizzou heads to Alabama for its 2nd-straight road game on Saturday at 5pm.

The University of Missouri football welcomed 14 new student-athletes to the program yesterday (Tuesday) with the start of the spring semester.

Some of the early enrollees from the high school ranks include wide receiver Luther Burden, offensive linemen Mekhi Miller and tight end Max Whisner.
