ARRESTS:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 56 Alton Ward yesterday (Wednesday) for a violation of protection order.
25 year old Mersady A. Hatfield was arrested yesterday (Wednesday) for leaving the scene of an accident.
According to Mexico Public Safety it happened when a vehicle driven by Hatfield side swiped another vehicle causing damage and Hatfield left the scene.
No injuries were reported.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A Mexico woman is recovering from injuries after a 2 car accident yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon on North Clark at West Monroe.
According to the accident report a vehicle driven by 32 year old Jared B. Jackson of Mexico entered the intersection and was hit by a vehicle driven by 86 year old Wanda L. Leach of Mexico.
Leach’s vehicle continued traveling southwest hitting a traffic data collection pole, damaging the device. Leach was taken to Boone Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
