Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Wednesday):

A natural gas odor on the corner of West Monroe and Kentucky.

A suspicious person at Country Place Court.

A report of child abuse or neglect at 4820 South Clark.

Trespassing at 4820 South Clark.

A domestic verbal incident on North Grand and at Venus.

A suspicious vehicle on East Liberty.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

A 2 car accident yesterday (Wednesday) on North Wade at West Monroe. According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 27 year old Shaylee Brown of Fulton was stopped at the intersection waiting for traffic to clear and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by a 16 year old Mexico resident. No injuries were reported.
