Mexico is sending 5 youth wrestlers to State after they qualified at Regionals in Cape Girardeau this past weekend.

The youth wrestlers include Logan Hilderman who took first place in 12u.

Evan Blair taking first place in 14U.

Grant Walker a 2nd place finisher in 14U.

Trevor Cole earning 3rd place in 12U.

And Travis Shramek who had a 2nd place finish in 12U.

The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team is the number 12 seed in the SEC tournament and will play the 13 seed Ole Miss on Wednesday in the opening round.

The Tigers finished the regular season on Saturday with a 79-69 win over Georgia.
Wednesday’s game against Ole Miss will be played in Tampa, Florida with a 5pm tip.

The Mizzou wrestling team claimed its 11th consecutive conference championship this weekend, winning the 2022 Big 12 Championship.

The Tigers had already wrapped up the team title before the final round began yesterday (Sunday).

Mizzou won the team title in their first year as members of the Big 12 since 2012, the year the team began its championship streak before spending 9 years in the MAC.

Mizzou’s undefeated freshman Keegan O’Toole won his second career conference title last (Sunday) night, taking the Big 12 title at 165 pounds.

The Tigers made the podium in six of ten weight classes, including 3 second-place finishes.
