CALLS FOR SERVICE:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Wednesday).
A suspicious person at Yale and on East Holt and at West Boulevard and on West Monroe.
A fight in progress at the corner of South Morris Street and Liberty.
Harassment at 2902 South Clark.
A careless and imprudent driver on West Boulevard.
A stealing or theft at the corner of Springdale Court and Omar and on West Monroe.
A scam at the South Clark apartment building.
Shop lifting at 4820 South Clark.
CAR ACCIDENTS:
A one car accident last (Wednesday) night at the 1700 block of East Liberty. According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 60 year old Anthony Gibbs of Mexico ran off the right side of the road and hit a ditch. No injuries were reported.
