The Mexico Bulldogs baseball team lost 13-10 to the Marshall Owls in Marshall last (Tuesday) night.

Mexico tallied nine hits.

Tristan Playter and Andrew Runge managed multiple hits.

The Bulldogs are now 8-3 on the season and play another road game tomorrow (Thursday) against the Centralia Panthers.

The Mexico boys tennis team lost 7-2 to the Moberly Spartans last (Tuesday) night.

Just one day after landing former Cleveland State guard Tre Gomillion, Mizzou basketball head coach Dennis Gates got another big commit.

He landed Noah Carter a 6’6, 230 pound combo forward from Northern, Iowa.

Carter was a second team all MVC player as a sophomore.

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Kansas City Royals 6-5 last (Tuesday) night at Busch Stadium.

Albert Pujols hit his first home run since returning to the Cardinals.

Nolan Arenado also went deep for the Redbirds. Royals slugger Salvador Perez homered twice in the game.

The Cardinals and Royals finish up their 2-game series this (Wednesday) afternoon at Busch with a 12:15 first pitch.

The St. Louis Blues defeated the Boston Bruins 4-2 on the road last (Tuesday) night.

Vladimir Tarasenko and David Perron had a goal and an assist, while Ville Husso made 39 saves.

The Blues remain tied for second in the central division with the Minnesota Wild.
