ARRESTS:

Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 57 year old Peter J. Kelly yesterday (Tuesday) for a Jefferson County Warrant.

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday (Tuesday):

A burglary not in progress on West Monroe.

Harassment at the South Clark apartment building.

Drug activity on Fairground Road.

Shop lifting at 4820 South Clark.

A vehicle break-in at the Carson apartment building.

A careless and imprudent driver on North Washington.

A domestic verbal incident at the South Clark apartment building.

A suspicious person at 4820 South Clark.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

Two juveniles are recovering from minor injuries following a two car accident in Mexico yesterday (Tuesday).According to the accident report it happened on Agricultural and Promenade when a vehicle driven by 35 year old Timothy Graham of Eolia was traveling behind a bus. His vehicle made a turn onto Promenade into the path of a vehicle driven by 58 year old Daniel Pehle of Mexico when a collision happened. Glass shards cut a six-year old and an 11-year old in Graham’s vehicle causing causing minor injuries.

 

No injuries being reported after a one car accident at the Orscheln’s parking lot in Mexico yesterday (Tuesday). According to the accident report officers responded to 3001 South Clark and found a vehicle driven by 53 year old Jerry McDaniel of Mexico made a turn in the Orscheln’s parking lot and hit a parking pole. The drivers side front tire went up the pole and the vehicle rolled on its passenger side.

 

Mexico Public Safety responded to a two car accident at South Morris Street yesterday (Tuesday). According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 53 year old Daryl Hein of Mexico came to a sudden stop and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 20 year old Jewel Durham of Mexico. Durham was taken by a private party to the Boone Hospital for treatment.
