A member of Mizzou Football’s 2021 recruiting class is reportedly no longer a member of the team.

Power Mizzou reports that redshirt freshman defensive end Jonathan Jones has left the program, bringing Eli Drinkwitz’s squad to 84 scholarship players.

Jones was rated a 3-star edge defender in the class of 2021 and did not see the field during MU’s 2021 season.

Kansas City Royals have placed ace Zack Greinke on the 15-day injured list with a strained right forearm.

The 38-year-old Greinke complained of tightness in his arm following Sunday’s start in Minnesota.

Kansas City climbed back to tie the game in the top of the eighth inning, however had the wind kicked out of them moments later when the Guardians mounted a four-run bottom of the frame to hand the Royals the loss.

Kansas City is now 16-31 to start the season, with the worst record in the American League.
