The St. Louis Cardinals gutted out a 7-6 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers last (Tuesday) night at Busch Stadium.

The Redbirds used home runs from its oldest player 42-year-old Albert Pujols and its youngest 22-year-old Nolan Gorman.

Pujols cranked the 685th home run of his career.

St. Louis rapper Nelly was there to double high-five the Cardinals’ legend through the netting near the on-deck circle.

With the victory St. Louis has now won three in a row.

The Kansas City Royals lost 7-5 to the Detroit Tigers at the K.

Trent Pierce is the latest commitment to the Mizzou basketball’s 2023 recruiting class.

It was announced yesterday (Tuesday) the 6’9 forward from Tulsa, Oklahoma verbally committed to Mizzou.

Pierce played for Union High School in Tulsa the past three seasons but transferred to Compass Prep in suburban Phoenix for his senior year.

He is considered a four star recruit and top 100 player nationally by many of the major recruiting websites.
